Our Story
Sprout About was born from a deeply personal journey. When I was diagnosed with cancer, I began searching for foods that could genuinely support my path back to health. Again and again, my research pointed to microgreens — small in size but unmatched in nutritional power. Pure, pesticide-free, and grown without synthetic fertilizers, they quickly became central to my healing and my daily life.
What started as a personal experiment soon grew into a passion. After three decades in the IT industry, I made the life-changing decision to step away and dedicate myself fully to cultivating these remarkable plants and sharing their benefits with others.
Sprout About is more than a business. It’s a story of resilience, science, and the belief that nature, when respected and understood, can powerfully support human health.

Chocolate Banana Smoothie
Rich + energizing + protein-packed
Ingredients
2 scoops Sprout About Protein Powder
1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
½ to 1 frozen banana (for creaminess and sweetness)
1 tbsp peanut butter or almond butter
1 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional, to taste)
¾ to 1 cup milk of choice (dairy, almond, oat, etc.)
Instructions
Combine ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.

Chia & Flax Powder Smoothie Recipe
Blueberry Cinnamon Oat Smoothie
Wholesome + fibre-rich + great for breakfast
Ingredients
2 scoops Sprout About Chia & Flax Powder
¾ cup frozen blueberries
¼ cup oats
1 cup milk of choice
¼ tsp cinnamon
1 tsp maple syrup or honey (optional)
Instructions
Combine ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
Add ice or more frozen fruit for a thicker consistency.

1 apple (sliced)
½ cucumber (peeled)
1 tbsp lemon juice
½ frozen banana (for smoothness)
1 cup cold water
